EAR PROTECTION

Always wear ear protection when using power tools for protection against noise and dust

EYE PROTECTION

Always wear eye protection when sanding by hand or with power tools for the protection against flying particles and dust.
A full face mask should be used with angle grinders

DUST MASK

Always wear a dust mask when sanding. Ensure you have the correct mask for the level of dust or fumes needed. Seek advice if needed from the mask manufacturers

Always wear eye protection, full dust mask and gloves during sanding and clearing away. Ensure power tools are unplugged from the electrical socket before fitting abrasives.

When sanding pre 1960's painted surfaces and some modern enamels, clear away thoroughly after sanding as these paints and dust residue may contain lead which is harmful to adults, children and animals, and especially harmful to pregnant women and animals with serious potential harm to the unborn fetus.
Always wear full protection when sanding and clearing away.
